Fareed Siddiq, an experienced Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney since 1980, has built and expanded his business through dedicated service and as a trusted advisor to his clients. As a member of the Siddiq Walas Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in the Pepper Pike office, he provides counsel in the areas of financial planning, risk management, investment management, estate and tax planning, and retirement planning. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, Senior Vice President –Wealth Management, and has earned the title of Senior Investment Management Consultant and Senior Portfolio Manager through his work in professional money management. He is also part of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Director’s Council and Pinnacle Group, both in-house organizations for leading consultants.
Born and raised in Pakistan, Fareed attended St. Patrick College in Karachi, majoring in Business before moving to the United States in 1972. He is fluent in English and Urdu.
Fareed is an active member of the Cleveland community. He sits on the Board of Trustees of several local organizations including: The Diversity Center (formerly NCCJ), American Red Cross, AAA Ohio Motorists Association, Greater Cleveland Partnership, Cleveland Council on World Affairs, The Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland (Lifetime Trustee), Ibn Sina Society, FBI Citizen’s Academy Foundation (Vice Chairman), and Rotary World Community Service Foundation. Fareed is also a member of the FBI’s Northern Ohio Hate Crimes Working Group.
Fareed has been quoted in Cleveland’s Plain Dealer, Akron Beacon Journal, Newsweek, The Washington Post, and Pakistan Link. He has also been interviewed on National Public Radio as well as various local television and radio stations. Fareed has lectured to various charity groups and at colleges and was chosen for Research Magazine’s 2000 Broker Hall of Fame*.
Fareed’s family includes his wife Laura, sons Omar and Adam, stepdaughter Elise and stepson Cody.

Gloria Walas is a Vice President – Wealth Management and an experienced Financial Advisor. She is a member of The Siddiq Walas Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in the Pepper Pike office, a team of skilled investment professionals offering comprehensive wealth management services to private and institutional investors. With 29 years of industry experience, she has built and expanded her business through dedicated service as a trusted advisor helping clients create and preserve wealth through a variety of financial services tailored to their needs. Gloria provides counsel in the development and implementation of corporate benefits programs, execution and maintenance of investment strategies for endowments, high net worth families and individuals. In addition, she provides counsel to fiduciary investors in the areas of financial planning, risk management, investment management, estate and tax planning, retirement planning and portfolio management.
An Ohio native, Gloria earned her B.A. in Finance from Kent State University. She is also an Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ with the Center for Fiduciary Studies in association with the University of Pittsburgh and a member of the Association of Professional Investment Consultants, a community of leading Morgan Stanley Smith Barney consultants.
Gloria has made a significant commitment to various charity organizations in the Cleveland area. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Big Brother/Big Sister Assocation, World Community Service Foundation, and is a member of the Hillcrest Rotary Club. In addition, she serves on the Planned Giving Counsel for the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland and the Cleveland Museum of Art. Gloria also volunteers her time to Habitat for Humanity and Holden Aboretum.
Gloria’s family includes her husband Ray, and their daughters Lauren and Meryl.

Laura has more than 13 years of experience with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. She assists in planning and implementing strategies designed to help clients manage and preserve their wealth. She also provides technical and operational support for our team through staff training, business planning and marketing. She is Series 7 licensed as Registered Representative in General Securities and Series 63 licensed as Uniform Securities Agent by the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA).
Laura lives in Berea with her husband and daughter.
Lisa Farrow

Lisa joined the Siddiq Walas Group in 2007 after 15 years of experience as an executive assistant to prominent business owners and executives in the greater Cleveland area. She is responsible for portfolio maintenance, processing rollovers, contributions, withdrawals and implementation of portfolio strategies. Utilizing her service experience she provides exceptional support and assistance to clients. Lisa is Series 6 Licensed and Life and Health Insurance licensed in the State of Ohio.
Deborah Davidson
Client Service Associate
Deborah began her career in finance with McDonald Investments in 2000, joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in 2007. While at McDonald, Deborah’s roles included that of Treasury Representative, IRA Representative, and Qualified Plans Representative. Her role is to enhance and maximize the services provided to the team’s clientele. She handles retirement plan processing, provides administrative support and is responsible for marketing and database management.
Deborah is a volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity of Portage County Family Support Committee and also volunteers for The Littlest Heroes and City Year. She lives in Chagrin Falls.
